I ordered an SSL. How do I get it to work on my domain?

After you must have purchased Rapid SSL, the enrollment steps would have been sent to your registered email address titled 'Your SSL Certificate - Enrollment steps', please check, click the link and install

The next thing to do is to install CSR, you need to log into your Cpanel or Plesk panel to have your CSR generated. The steps stated below is for the Cpanel

How to generate CSR Code on cPanel.

⦁ Log into your cPanel.
⦁ Locate and click on SSL/TLS Manager in the Security section:
⦁ Click on Generate, view, or delete SSL certificate signing requests under the Certificate Signing Requests (CSR) menu:
⦁ Locate the option titled Generate a New Certificate Signing Request (CSR). If you select “Generate a New 2048-bit key”, a completely new Private Key will be generated. If the private key was generated separately, please select it from the drop-down.
⦁ Fill the form below, they will be submitted to the Certificate Authority. Kindly use only alphanumeric characters when filling in the details.
Domains: Enter the fully qualified domain name on which the SSL will be activated (common name). The common name for all Wildcard certificates should be represented with an asterisk in front of the domain (*.example.com). To create your CSR code for multiple domains, enter each domain in a new line.
City: Provide the complete name of your city or locality. Do not use abbreviations.
State: Provide the complete name of your state or region.
Country: Select your country from the drop-down list.
Company: Enter the name of your company. For Organization and Extended Validation certificates, Certificate Authorities will be verifying the submitted organization. For Domain Validation SSLs, this field will not be listed on the issued certificate (you can use “NA” for Organization when issuing a Domain Validation certificate if you do not have an organization registered).
Company Division: Provide the name of a division or department within the organization indicated above. For Domain Validation certificates, you can enter “NA”.
E-mail: Enter your e-mail address. The e-mail used for CSR generation will not be used for domain control validation or for the reception of the issued certificate. It can be left blank.
Passphrase: Feel free to leave it empty.
Description: Add some keywords to easily locate a particular CSR in the list.
6. Click on Generate.
7. The CSR Code will be generated. You can then use the code generated to activate the SSL certificate.
Please include -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- when submitting the CSR code for SSL activation.

Once you have the CSR, input it in the box required

Fill in the necessary details in the other fields and save.

There are three types of authentication, you have to choose one authentication method

DNS Authentication
File Authentication
Email Verification

Depending on your mode of authenticating your domain, you log in to the cpanel to authenticate your domain

After authenticating your domain, the certificate authority sends you your CRT. You need to install the certificate sent
Log into your Cpanel
Search for SSL
On the right-hand side, click INSTALL AND MANAGE SSL FOR YOUR SITE (HTTPS)
and paste the certificate
And autofill the other boxes once you have pasted the certificate sent
Then Save.

You have just successfully installed your certificate.
